Suzhou Factory

Smith & Nephew Medical Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was registered and established in November 2007, and is the first factory invested in by the Smith & Nephew Group in China. The plant is located in the west zone of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, covering an area of 40,000 square meters, with a total investment of USD 60 million.

The Suzhou factory belongs to the Advanced Wound Management division. The advanced wound care products produced there not only meet local market demand in China but are also exported to more than 60 countries worldwide. The main products of the Suzhou factory include Allevyn, Allevyn Gentle, and other series of dressings, which are globally leading foam dressing products. Both their packaging and raw materials are patented by Smith & Nephew.

Beijing Factory

Smith & Nephew Surgical Implants (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was established in August 2008 and officially put into use in May 2010. The factory is located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), covering an area of 17,800 square meters, with a total investment of USD 55 million. It integrates process manufacturing, new product transfer, product R&D, quality control, and warehouse management. It mainly produces knee and hip replacement products, trauma products, and instruments supporting joint replacement surgery. The Beijing factory not only has world-leading production and processing equipment and a safe and comfortable production and office environment, but also has a strong team of engineers and a quality production team.
